Ferto Lake Neusiedl 115,5m (germ. Neusiedlersee, croat. Niuzaljsko jezero, slov. Nezidersko jezero) is the second largest steppe lake in Central Europe, straddling the Hungarian-Austrian border. The lake covers 285 km², of which 220 km² is on the Austrian side and 65 km² on the Hungarian side. The lakes drainage basin has an area of about 1.120 km².
